Entry is free when the museum is open and accessible, but it is not guaranteed. The museum is normally open 09:00–17:00, with last admission at 16:00, and is closed on Mondays. If entry is unavailable, the route continues with prepared exterior content. Changing to the exterior version does not cancel the route or create a refund entitlement.

No. Both are exterior story stops. Embankment Building is an occupied residential building, and interior access is not part of the route.

Your group chooses according to time, crowding and walking preference. The more direct option continues on foot to Jinling East Road. The later-running option uses public transport or a self-paid taxi to Fuxing East Road. Your Buddy explains the current trade-offs before the group decides.

Your Buddy adjusts the final segment according to current conditions. A sightseeing cruise is not automatically substituted, and any additional paid transport is discussed before your group chooses it.

Public-ferry fares, any bus or taxi used for the Fuxing East Road branch, transport before or after the route, and food, drinks or personal purchases are paid directly by guests. Your Buddy does not pay or advance costs on behalf of guests.

Meet near Suzhou Creek and the Shanghai Postal Museum. Your Buddy confirms the exact meeting point privately before the walk. The route finishes across the Huangpu River near Dongchang Road and does not return to the starting area.

For bookings made more than 14 days ahead, we usually confirm your Local Buddy by 14 days before the walk. If you book within 14 days, matching begins after payment. We share your Buddy’s details as soon as the match is confirmed.

The route involves about 4 km of cumulative walking, outdoor streets, possible queues and a public-ferry crossing. Children count toward the six-guest limit and must be accompanied by an adult. Share relevant walking or mobility needs before booking so the route can be assessed honestly.

Book at least 48 full hours before the selected start time, calculated in Shanghai time.

Cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time to receive a refund of the amount paid to LokBuddy for this experience. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the start time, after the experience has begun or following a customer no-show are not refundable. Your Buddy waits for up to 30 minutes after the confirmed start time. If your group arrives within that period, the experience can begin, but the standard service end time and third-party operating times do not shift. If your group has not arrived or cannot be contacted after 30 minutes, the booking is treated as a no-show.

You may choose a refund of the amount paid to LokBuddy for this experience or reschedule without an additional LokBuddy fee. Any separately paid third-party charge remains subject to that provider’s policy.
